Simultaneously, the following journals are kindly offering space for a few selected papers of ICCMI 2012 provided that they meet the standards of the journals:

Thessaloniki, the venue city, boasts to be the second most important city of the Byzantine era and is famous for the exceptional monuments of that period. Two, among others, strongly appealing points of modern Thessaloniki are its romantic atmosphere and its vibrant nightlife. Thessaloniki is also close to great tourist destinations such as Chalkidiki (known worldwide for its magnificent beaches), Mount Athos (the Holy Mountain), Meteora, Vergina, Mount Olympus (home to the Ancient Greek Gods of Mythology) and several others.

Parallel to the Conference, social events will be programmed such as excursions to some of the above mentioned destinations. Further information will soon be available on the Conference's website.
